Portland Window Wanderland

Help transform Portland’s streets into an outdoor gallery for all to see by creating your very own window display.

On the weekend of March 23rd - 25th 2018 the Friends of b-side are bringing Window Wanderland to Portland! This community event started in Bristol in 2015, and has grown year on year, with many previous participating neighbourhoods returning to make it an annual event. It has been featured in The Sunday Times, as well as on BBC’s The One Show and numerous local radio stations. You can read more about it at: www.windowwanderland.com.

Join the Friends of b-side and take part in this wonderful community event soon to take over Portland’s streets!

Open your curtains and create window displays to amuse, entertain and enthral visitors & neighbours for a weekend of fun. Taking part is completely free and guaranteed fun for all the family as well as local businesses, shop windows and schools too!

"A ‘display’ could be ANYTHING (so long as it’s child friendly!) You could use the opportunity to recreate a scene from your favourite film, you could host an interactive disco, karaoke or could even display regular household items. The sky is the limit and we look forward to hearing & seeing some wacky and 'keep Portland weird' esque ideas". - Friend of b-side.
